I am so thankful to the many first-responders such as doctors, nurses, fire and police men and women, and many other types of health-care workers who are at a high risk of contracting the coronavirus as they do their jobs. In addition, there are other people in occupations such as cashiers, media personnel, those involved in manufacturing personal protective equipment (PPE) and many other occupations who are still working during this time.
Happy Easter Everyone! I hope this Easter morning finds you well! When checking the news this morning, the first article that I read hit home with me. My research on the power of music for those with dementia showed me how important music can be. I find this article that I read so inspiring and want to share it with you.
I just love to hear about random acts of kindness. At the New Year, NRS Healthcare started a "Be Selfless" campaign. One of the posters suggested, "Make a cup of hot tea for someone" (shown below). That brought memories of how my grandmother would often do that for me. |
